Here’s to You, Dad!

Congrats - you’re getting married to the man of your dreams! But there will always be that No. 1 male figure in your life: your dearest Dad. Father’s Day is just around the corner, so here’s a toast to all those daddy-daughter (and son!) wedding moments.
 
At Lily & Lime, we believe that family focused wedding photos can be the most special. One of our all-time favorite wedding shots happens to be the father’s first looks at his daughter in her gorgeous wedding dress. Let’s just say it can be a  bittersweet moment. 

Fathers have played a huge role throughout their child’s life, so it’s no surprise he may be vulnerable (and beyond touched) to his see his “little one” all grown up and starting a new life.

Whether there are smiles, tears, laughs or a little bit of everything, the expression on dad’s face says it all! Make sure your wedding photographer gets an variety of endearing shots with you and the man who raised you - from walking down the aisle and looking straight into each other’s eyes to giving those big bear hugs!

And we of course can’t forget those father-daughter dance shots! Your wedding photographer will capture the loving bond while you’re dancing to your favorite song.
