Darby and Hunter Take to Nature for Their Nashville Wedding

The raw, natural beauty of lush woods, authentic country charm and a whole lot of romance set the stage for Darby and Hunter’s stunning outdoor wedding at The Wrens Nest in Nashville. Darby and Hunter gave us a wonderful rustic wedding inspiration with their countrified, whimsical wedding, filled with charming details and adorable moments throughout the day.
Darby and her bridesmaids got ready in coordinating, but not matching, flannels during the bridal prep. Darby stole the show in her lace gown. With its delicate bodice, lace straps, low back and full skirt, the dress was a showstopper. The bridal party wore short, cap-sleeve periwinkle dresses, embellished with lace as well. Cowboy boots added a balancing dash of rustic charm to their wedding day looks. We thought it was the perfect look to complement the wedding location, too.
Their colorful, whimsical bouquets were beautiful. We couldn’t help but notice the delicate spring star flowers that gave ‘something blue’ to Darby’s bridal look. So thoughtful!
Hunter opted for a grey suit paired with a periwinkle tie to match the wedding color palette. Both Darby and Hunter looked perfect for their outdoor wedding.
The groomsmen decided to do without suit jackets on the big day. They looked casual yet sharp and pulled together in white shirts, suspenders, and matching ties.
Mother Nature was the guest of honor at Darby and Hunter’s Nashville wedding and looked great in the photography, too. The couple’s photos in a rustic tree-house like shelter in the middle of the woods were absolutely incredible. The lush surrounding trees became the backdrop for many serene photos, especially the group ones.
The adorable start to the wedding could not have been more perfect, as two little ones carrying “We’re Here For Cake” signage walked down the aisle. Truly memorable! Love was in the air as the couple exchanged vows under a canopy of trees and romantic string lights.
Darby and Hunter stayed true to their rustic theme and hosted a country-inspired intimate reception at a barn with chandeliers, twinkle lights and lots of warmth. Hunter and Darby’s magical day ended with a picturesque sparkler send-off, complete with a swoon-worthy dip!
