Speaking of the wedding day, Kim and Tim got ready early in the morning for the most important day of their lives. Kim and her group of bridesmaids got ready for the magical day ahead and shared a lovely time together. While Kim wore a white pajama set with blue piping details, her friends wore blue pajama sets with white details. After our DC wedding photographers captured the group of girls in some gorgeous captures, it was finally time for our lovely bride to get dressed. Kim slipped into a gorgeous princess bridal gown with tulle details that cascaded around her skirt and embroidered bodice. Her hair was arranged in gentle waves and a half-updo adorned with sparkly hair accessories. Her makeup was glowy and romantic and she carried a colorful bouquet full of yellow, red white, and blue flowers and a red ribbon to tie it all together which completed her wedding day look. Kim’s bridesmaids wore mix-and-match champagne-colored bridesmaid dresses and carried matching colorful bouquets. While the bride and her group of girls were full of light hues and colorful flowers, Tim and his groomsmen were full of bold colors. They wore bright blue matching suits and red print neckties, matched with white shirts and tan shoes. A sprig of red flowers worn as a boutonniere completes the look with a dashing flair. 

After the couple was dressed up, Tim and Kim had their first look, which was captured artfully by our DC wedding photographers. After the first look, the couple met at their wedding ceremony. Their ceremony backdrop was simple and natural, as it featured the stairs in the outdoor venue in all its glory. One of the groomsmen was their officiator which made the wedding ceremony extra special for the couple. After the ceremony, the couple posed for some lovely pictures and joined their wedding guests for their reception. The reception decor was filled with many thoughtfully incorporated details of their pets. We especially love the table seating details and the menu. The decor is classy and minimal with bursts of blue as a fun element. Our wedding photographers in DC captured the evening details beautifully, whether it was the single-tier wedding cake with peach flower details, the dessert table, or the important moments like the first dance, toasts, and the father-daughter dance.
