Love Flows Through the Air in the Windy City

Sometimes love is all you need.
Just take this gorgeous Chicago couple, Ahmad and Karyn, for example.
Dressed in matching blues, the soon-to-be newlyweds look so happy to be wrapped up in each other’s arms during their Lily & Lime engagement photography session. Taken along Lake Shore Drive with a spectacular view of Lake Michigan’s indigo waters, we can’t help but smile when we look at these two.
Ahmad and Karyn’s expressions make it clear that this is their city, and that they each have found their person. The emotion and affection for both shines through. It’s their story. No fancy clothes. No props required.
While this playful photo has “bestie” written all over it...
...this one seems to say, “I’ll grow old with you.” (Can’t you picture them sitting here in 50 years?)
And this photo captures a little bit of everything: the stunning city skyline, and the love these two sweethearts have for each other. Plus, their sweet kiss says romance is very much alive in their relationship!
The engagement photographer’s use of natural light creates a sense of time and longevity, which perfectly fits the couple’s personality. We also appreciate how the photographer toyed with the glass, creating interesting images without adding anything to the organic environment.
Lying in the grass or breaking into dance, it’s clear these two are in like and in love. And that’s an engagement style we can all get behind!
