Dhithya and Sumeet’s gorgeous, fun and colorful Indian wedding had us in awe of its vibrancy and vigor. Dhithya and Sumeet chose Los Angeles as the backdrop for their special day, and it was an amazing choice of course! A city whispering promises of glitz and glam, Los Angeles is highly diverse and creative, bringing with it striking strokes of character and interest. Situated on the cusp of various different terrains, LA gets the best of many worlds! Dhithya and Sumeet chose the gorgeous and premier wedding venue in Orange County, Black Gold Golf Club as the setting for their wedding day. A stunning wedding venue featuring awe-inspiring natural surroundings provides the perfect setting for a picturesque outdoor wedding. A fast pick of Orange County Golfers, this venue features gorgeous grounds, water features with stunning waterfalls, elevation changes, rolling hills, and unbelievable vistas facing coastal Orange & Los Angeles Counties, along with parts of the Newport Beach Coast and Catalina Island. Boasting exceptional views and a wide assortment of services, your expectations from this wedding venue is sure to be surpassed as you host your special day in this pretty place. Black Gold Golf Club wedding venue allows you and your partner to host a wedding in the outside setting, so that you can immerse yourself in the enchanting surroundings of the sparkling lake, inviting waterfalls, winding fairways, and glimmering city lights. For your wedding ceremony, you can set it against the secluded Falls ceremony garden overlooking the tranquil waterfalls and pristine greens. It is established in a secluded area of the club and stars a raised stage bordered by a gorgeous wooden arch complete with jaw-dropping mountain views, with the city and the greenery playing peek-a-boo in the distance! On the wedding day, Dhithya and Sumeet got ready for their special day with all the excitement in the world. Dhithya posed candidly with her girls as they were all getting ready and were gathered for a pre-ceremony toast! While Dhithya wore a white robe as she got ready, her bridesmaids donned an eclectic mix of different outfits, some dressed in traditional Indian salwar kameez while others wore dresses and loungewear of their choice. Dhithya soon slipped into a bridal outfit, a gorgeous blue and pink saree, with a matching pink blouse. Her makeup was bright and colorful, and perfect for her desi (Indian) wedding and we love her choice of traditional jewelry, be it the kamarbandh (the jeweled belt) or maang tika (the headgear), the nose pin, earrings, or necklaces, all coming together to make the traditional Indian bridal look complete. She wore bright red bindi (a colored dot worn in the center of the forehead) and blue and red bangles which complemented the look beautifully. Her hair was arranged in a long braid and was adorned with fragrant flowers which looped around her braid delicately, which was typical of South Indian weddings. Sumeet looked equally phenomenal in his beige sherwani embossed in golden motifs, bright red turban, and matching dupatta and a pair of traditional red shoes completed his look perfectly. The bridesmaids all wore different teal sarees and lehengas, all dressed up in Indian jewelry, looking festive and gorgeous. The groomsmen on the other hand wore yellow kurtas with teal dupattas. Together the wedding party looked like quite the colorful and joyous bunch, like a bouquet of wildflowers in the riotous mix of colors! 

After the couple got ready, they had their first look moment, which was beautifully captured by our Los Angeles wedding photographers. The couple posed for stunning couple portraits and also Dhithya got some bridal portraits taken too. The couple also posed by the beautiful aisle, at the end of which the wedding ceremony was to happen. The arbor was adorned with gorgeous foliage and flowers and the mustard yellow fabric drapes were just the perfect touch to the setting. Our LA wedding photographers did the phenomenal job of capturing the groom with the groomsmen, the bride with her bridesmaids, and the whole wedding party together in the most perfect frames. The couple also posed by the horse which was festively decorated for the event. In Indian weddings, the groom arrives at the venue on a white female horse, quiet in a knight-in-shining-armor fashion, and our lovely couple wanted to do this tradition justice by incorporating it into their wedding! Sumeet looked quite dashing sitting on the horse as he made the grand entrance to get to his bride! The bride and the groom both were accompanied by their family members to the mandap, the seated arrangement where the actual wedding is performed by the pandit in a Hindu wedding ceremony. After the wedding ceremony was done and the family group photographs were taken, the couple went in to change into their reception outfits. 

The couple made an appearance after a quick change and Dhithya wore a beige and red lehenga with a matching dupatta (a long veil-like fabric) and gold jewelry to tie the look together. Her gold headgear added to the princessy vibe. Sumeet wore a navy blue suit with a crisp white shirt, red vest, and matching red bow-tie and pocket square. The red rose he wore as his boutonniere and the tan pair of shoes completed the look. While his groomsmen changed into matching black suits with teal neckties, the bridesmaids still sported the stunning teal ensembles. After some couple portraits against the beautiful waterfall, the couple exchanged rings, and now it was time for some more group photography, and our professional and affordable wedding photographers in Los Angeles did a fabulous job of capturing that! As the sun sank down the horizon, the wedding photographers in LA took this opportunity to capture the duo in some gorgeous silhouette photography, the result was just magical! We also love the snaps taken by the white fencing as they looked eternally romantic and timeless, and definitely frame-worthy! After the photo session, the couple went in to join their guests for their wedding reception back in the clubhouse which was decorated optimally for this occasion, and the party was just getting started!

The decor of this wedding was well-thought-out and was full of careful consideration of details. The abundance of nature seems to be the running theme here, with plenty of natural lighting, manicured landscapes, and the rocky waterfalls and picturesque streams playing the perfect additive to the frames. We love the rustic mountain elements which were carefully balanced with the luxurious lush grounds of the wedding location. The colors of the wedding were vibrant and bold, yet they all worked together closely to bring the day alive in the perfect way. From the grand foliage arch used for the actual wedding ceremony to the pale yellow drapes, from the classy reception area to the romantic vibe, every element of this wedding is well-thought-out to create the perfect dream wedding for this gorgeous duo!
