The wedding day dawned bright and warm, almost disguised as a summer day! However, it was December, the 4th, and the air whispered of winter in the shadows when one walked away from the sunny outdoors! Our lovely bride Julia got ready for the day ahead in her white and blue floral robe, as she got her hair and makeup done. Her makeup was light and feminine, and her hair was pinned up and cascading in gorgeous curls in an elegant updo. Soon Julia slipped into her gorgeous wedding dress, a stunning mermaid silhouette wedding dress with a plunging V-neck and romantic lace detailing in the back. A long cathedral veil added to the classic and romantic look of the wedding. She wore a gorgeous necklace and earring set which brought her elegant look to life. She carried a white and greenery bridal bouquet which went perfectly with the wedding day elements. Ben wasn't far behind with his swanky and dashing look. His navy suit was just perfect for the day, which he paired well with a crisp white shirt and white necktie. A white rose boutonniere and a pair of tan formal shoes complimented the look perfectly. 

Our NYC wedding photographers captured little snippets of the couple’s getting-ready session. After the duo got ready, they met outside for a first look, which was again beautifully captured by the photographers. The look on Ben’s face says it all, and it was surely a moment worth capturing. After the first look, Julia and Ben posed for a quick couple portrait session in the lovely outdoors of the wedding venue. The wrought iron gateway provided the perfect backdrop for the pictures, and we especially enjoyed the gorgeous water lines in the backdrop as the couple huddled together for a romantic shot. They were joined by their lovely pet dog for a memorable shot before they were alone again. The couple posed by the elegant water fountain in the venue, making way for a shot that is priceless.  After a few more outdoor shots, the couple posed by the winding stairway, which is decorated in a breathtaking way with garlands and Christmas lights. The Christmas tree at the foot of the stairway was perfect for this December wedding and added to the cozy winter wedding aesthetics perfectly! The NYC wedding photographers captured them in a kiss by the tree and it was just perfect!

The couple then went in for the indoor ceremony site which was tastefully decorated for the occasion in minimal white and green accents. Before the ceremony, the couple posed with some of their loved ones for some amazing group photographs. Ben wore a kippah as they met for the vows under the arch. After the vows were said and the kiss sealed the deal, just like that, Julia and Ben were married. We loved the shot of the two walking down the aisle as their loved ones cheered! After the ceremony, the couple joined their guests for a lovely wedding reception.

The wedding reception setting was decorated with elegant touches of white, gold, and green, perfectly matching the wedding theme. The theme was contrasted by quirky touches like the tree light centerpieces which added an unexpected touch to the wedding day. The wedding cake was a classic white cake with gold accents and delicate white details. The couple then had their first dance, and they cut their wedding cake. We loved how the NYC wedding photographer captured the important moments of the day in the most perfect ways, whether it was the dance, the kiss during the cake-cutting,  or the look on their faces during the wedding toasts.
